MIDI Controller
Design
While studying at Texas Tech University, I took 2 semesters of Music Informatics. I learned how to code in C+ to design projects using Arduino and Teensy microcontrollers. For my final projects, I designed MIDI Controllers to be used for research, performance, and compositional purposes.
The HeartBeat
The HeartBeat is a custom-designed MIDI controller that utilizes the power of a Teensy 3.5 microcontroller and an IR sensor to capture data from a human heart rate and convert it into MIDI data using different interpretations of the data. I successfully presented the device in Fall 2024.

MIDISense
The MIDISense is a custom-designed MIDI controller that utilizes the power of a Teensy 3.5 microcontroller and thin-film pressure sensors to capture data from 3 pressure inputs from 3 fingers and convert it into MIDI data using different interpretations of the data. I successfully presented the device in Fall 2025.
