MIDI Controller
Design

While studying at Texas Tech University, I took a semester of Music Informatics. I learned how to code in C+ to design projects using Arduino and Teensy microcontrollers. For my final project, I designed a MIDI Controller to be used for research and compositional purposes.

The HeartBeat

The HeartBeat is a custom-designed MIDI controller that utilizes the power of a Teensy 3.5 microcontroller and an IR sensor to capture data from a human heart rate and convert it into MIDI data using different interpretations of the data. I successfully demo'd the device in Fall 2024.
